We headed out to one of Tybee’s newest eateries for dinner last week – The Deck Beach Bar & Kitchen. My family has been raving about it since it opened so we were really excited to try it! It is located right on the beach in the same spot where Marlin Monroe’s was for years.
First things first, there is the best photo wall right inside. I know my Disney loving friends can appreciate this :-)
The inside has been lightened and brightened up, and the deck still has an amazing view. It was pretty stormy the night we went, so we ate inside. BUT… look at this!
The menu is not extensive, but everything on it is SO good. I can say that because between the 10 of us, I’m pretty sure we had most everything. The coconut shrimp and street corn are definite favorites…
The fish and chips (malt vinegar fries!) were a huge hit with the guys…
And the avocado toast is out of this world…
Our evening at The Deck was full of good food, high spirits and a lot of fun. We will definitely be back.
I absolutely love seeing new establishments popping up on Tybee. It has already come so far since we were little, but has managed to stick to the same laid back, Tybee-time feel it has had for ages.
