In all of our trips to Disney, we’ve only seen it twice. The boys were so little the last time that only John vaguely remembered it.
This quick little jaunt down Main Street USA brings out old vehicles, wellies, rain coats, sing-a-long tunes and a crew of rare characters.
The Rainy Day Cavalcade takes the place of Festival of Fantasy when it is a little too wet for the face characters and floats but not a torrential downpour either. Things have to be just right for singing in the rain. :-)
As we like to say, heat, rain, cold or wind, a day in Disney is still a DAY IN DISNEY!!!!!

The Magic Kingdom , Epcot , and Disney’s Hollywood Studios have many attractions that are found indoors. Take a look at the weather forecast during your stay. If there’s a fairly dry day predicted, plan to visit the Animal Kingdom . While it does have sheltered venues, this is one park that’s meant to be enjoyed outdoors.
