We wrapped up our last day in New York with some shopping, exploring and good eats!! Before I get started on that, here are links to our other two days…
Day 1
The Plaza Hotel
High Tea at The Plaza
Shopping
Dinner at Cherche Midi
Day 2
New York Marathon
The Met
The Champagne Bar at The Plaza Hotel
Hamilton on Broadway
Da Marino
Dylan’s Candy Bar
Day 3
Shopping
Sarabeth’s Lunch
Check-out at The Plaza is noon so we took our time getting ready and just headed down to the Food Hall for breakfast. It was a hard decision, but I ended up with a ham, egg and gruyere crepe and it was SO good!
After breakfast we headed out shopping again. We really didn’t have a plan, just wandered through all the fabulous stores. The customization area at Coach was fantastic and full of great gifts. We also explored Saks and countless others that I can’t even think of at the moment.
We watched the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center for a little bit as well. My boys would love this!!
And we had lunch at Sarabeth’s on Central Park. It was delicious and I highly recommend this spot. The grown up grilled cheese and tomato soup is only offered on week days and I would definitely save this spot for that very reason!
We did a little more shopping and then J was off to Seattle. M and I had a late flight back to Atlanta so we bid farewell to The Plaza and were headed home!
This trip was one for the memory book! Happy 40th birthdays M and J!!!
