I have been meaning to share Adventures by Disney with y’all for some time now. I will be headed on my very first adventure with them to Germany in August and am getting so excited!! Since most people that I have told about my trip have never heard of Adventures by Disney I thought I’d share all the details and open up the comments for questions.
What is Adventures by Disney?
Adventures by Disney are expertly planned and guided group tours visiting 35 destinations across 6 continents. You can visit the world’s most iconic locations with Disney as your guide and your storyteller, and enjoy experiences, activities, dining and adventures in a way that only Disney can do. This is not a theme park tour with Mickey Mouse and popcorn buckets. These are trips around the world where you experience the service and VIP treatment that Disney is known for.
Where can I go with Adventures by Disney?
Adventures by Disney visits magical destinations all over the world, including adventures in Asia, Africa, Australia, Central & South America, Europe and North America. Here are some of my favorites:
Adventure seekers in Costa Rica zip line through the rainforest canopy, soak in natural hot springs, shoot the rapids on a white water adventure, take private catamaran and boat tours, and learn to make mojitos.
On my Germany trip we will tour a fairy tale castle atop a Bavarian hillside, enjoy beer, chocolate and other culinary experiences, take a bike tour along the Berlin Wall, take a private tour of a concentration camp, and learn to my pretzels.
Italy is a perennial favorite. You will visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum, take an after-hours tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, tour St. Peter’s Basilica, enjoy Venice on a gondola ride, visit a Tuscan winery, learn to make pasta, explore Florence and so much more.
In Scotland adventurers canoe the waters of the Loch Ness, enjoy a regal reception on the Royal Yacht Britannia, bike the Caledonian Canal, tour Blair Castle, take a whisky tour, spend a day at participating in archery and traditional Highland games, and learn to make shortbread.
Closer to home, in Arizona and Utah you will hike along trails in some of nature’s most beautiful landscapes and take in the vast vistas of Grand Canyon National Park, abundant with rugged power and glorious colors. You will go rafting on the picturesque Colorado River to get an up-close look at the famous red rock canyons of Moab, Utah; and see landforms at Arches National Park that are unlike any other in the world.
On the Winter in Wyoming adventure guests journey across the wintry wilderness of Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park. You will delight in panoramic views of the breathtaking snow-capped Rocky Mountains, explore geysers and other remarkable phenomena and go dog sledding across pristine, snowy terrain. Then, take a moment to relax in the great outdoors—soak, swim and float in a natural hot springs surrounded by snow-laden pines!
In the brand new 11-day, 10-night Japan vacation you can visit temples in Kyoto, learn sword techniques with a master samurai, explore the bustling city of Tokyo, bike through rural Japan and more.

Who is Adventures by Disney really for?
These trips are perfect for families and multi-generational trips, but there are also adult-exclusive trip dates built in throughout the year. I find these are great trips for families just getting their toes wet in international or guided travel. The kids will make friends with other children, and there are usually nights built in where Disney entertains the little ones and the adults enjoy a night off. For multi-generational families, there is something for everyone. For larger families, it eases the tension of having to get everyone on the same page. And, for everyone, Disney handles literally every detail… they move your bags from one location to the next, help with any little thing that may arise during your trip, and are there to ensure you have a magical time from the moment you arrive. Traveling with Adventures by Disney provides culturally immersive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences that prove all vacations are not created equal.
