Disney Cruise Line {Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Under the Sea Package}

On our big family cruise, CeeCee did the Under the Sea Package at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and it was absolutely adorable!!

Under the Sea Package

Plucky young adventurers can become little mermaids with the Under the Sea Package, which includes a 2-piece swimsuit (limited sizes available; comes in pink and blue). A floral hair clip, necklace and nail polish complete the look.  The price is $99.95.

This was CeeCee’s first time at a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and she had the best time.  Her little mermaid tail coverup comes off and there is a cute little two piece swim suit underneath.  The shell on her necklace and hair clip change color in the sun, which she loved.  They let you keep the nail polish for touch ups later.

I have mixed feelings on Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the ship in general.  On one hand, it is much easier to book here than in Magic Kingdom.  But, on the other hand, you are probably on a warm weather or adventurous itinerary with lots of swimming so the hair and makeup won’t last very long at all.  I thought the mermaid makeover was a fun alternative because she swam in this suit the rest of the trip and wore her jewelry to dinner with her regular clothes.  I do love the Pirates League on Pirate Night, as it is a fun way get dressed up on this special night.  If you choose to do any service at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, make your appointment at midnight on the day that your reservations open for booking.  I handle this for my cruise clients.

Now, take all of this advice knowing that I have two boys :-)

  1. My daughter did this exact same package on our last cruise. I agree that the hair doesn’t really stand up to the type of trip we were on. She did love that when we ported in Jamaica, the Del Sol store had the same hair clips for sale. She enjoyed the experience, but she was at the top end of the age requirement and I worried that it wasn’t as “cute” for her. Also, for her size, she was at the top size of available costumes. They don’t have any “give”, so if you are unsure of the fit, make alternative plans.
    Also, as usual, all CMs treated and addressed her as princess, regardless of the costume.
