Whit had a day of kindness at school last month for Red Ribbon Week. I waited until the very last minute to crank this shirt out on the Cricut, but it turned out really cute and he was happy to wear it. We did have a school shirt with “{school name} be kind” but I forgot to purchase it at the beginning of the school year.
Be Kind Tee
I used a Cat & Jack tee from Target and already had the blue heat transfer vinyl in my stach. I have saved this editable file in the Dixie Delights Cricut Design Space, enabling you to edit out the Mickey dotting the i if you wish.
Tools I Use
- I have the Cricut Explore Air 2 and really like it. Once upon a time I had the first iteration of a Silhouette and they have come so far since then.
- I use the Cricut Easy Press for heat transfer vinyl. I love that is is small and easy to store. It seems to adhere the vinyl to the shirts so much better than the iron does. I have a large piece of wood (like a cutting board) that I use as a base because it really only works on a solid flat surface, not on the ironing board.
- I like the Siser Easy Weed Heat Transfer Vinyl for iron on projects.
Happy crafting!
