In a one-of-a-kind truly unforgettable epicurean experience, you can host an extraordinary dinner party right inside Disneyland at 21 Royal! You arrive at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where your VIP escort kicks off the festivities. Perched above New Orleans Square, 21 Royal is decorated in the Empire style.
You will find things like the original birds that inspired Walt’s Tiki Room, magnificent decor and enchanted rooms where you never know what magic may unfold around you!
Once you’re acquainted with 21 Royal, signature cocktails are served by butlers in the salon, then everyone is invited out to the patio for a reception.
At dinner time, you and your eleven guests take your seats and the evening’s adventure really begins. The 21 Royal team designs a multi-course menu that is a combination of fine dining and Disney storytelling.
The grand finale is dessert on the private balcony, with a spectacular view of the Rivers of America. Imagine capping off your special evening with a viewing of Fantasmic! and then leisurely heading back to your resort in an empty Disneyland park.

I am curious in wondering if 21 Royal was built on some of Walt’s original blueprints for a family residence or if he never got that far? I was surprised to hear it wasn’t available for overnight guests since it had a bedroom/bath.
I was also curious to know if and what Disney travel agents had been briefed on regarding the coronavirus outbreak. I would image its going to effect attendance and bookings short term as well as cruise travel as guests are anxious about going to theme parks with large crowds and so many tourists coming from other countries.
Hi Teresa, Yes! It was in the original plans. It was previously known as the castle suite and you could stay there. It was then returned to it’s original intent of a “home” that could be enjoyed. Disney Cruise Line has been amazing and completely accommodating with changes and putting 100% of monies paid towards a future trip. Disney World is still 100% operational and business as usual with no revisions or leniency on their policies. I have had and will have a ton of clients in Disney World this month with the peak spring break season. For now, I am personally moving forward with all of my family’s planned travels. <3
