I’m popping in today with another Magical Monday review from one of our long-time Disney favorites: Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! We are relatively frequent fliers at Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness and always set aside an evening to enjoy the Western fare with a side of shenanigans!
Whispering Canyon is known for their tasty beverages and bottomless platters. Both are hearty and good.
What really makes the meal memorable and so quintessentially Disney are the cast member antics!
Junior gunslingers will find all kinds of shenanigans to get into: Lincoln logs, coloring, spirited sing-alongs and even hobby horse races. And the wise-cracking wait staff will make sure that grownup cowpokes get in on the fun too!
We first dined here back in 2013 and have been countless times since. We have so many fun memories… Whit went so far as to ask if the skillet was a souvenir. HAHA!
When he asked for a straw… be careful what you wish for at Whispering Canyon!
We tend to frequent Whispering Canyon with friends. It’s a fun place for a group. The kids always need ketchup!
When she asked for “more water”. HA! (Also, I have so many pictures of our husbands in the backgrounds of our pictures with this exact face.)
Whipsering Canyon is one credit on the Disney Dining Plan and is located inside of the Wilderness Lodge Resort. Advance reservations are definitely needed, but it is not one of those impossible to get locations. I do recommend dining here if you are staying at Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness. I do not recommend traveling over here for dinner if you are not staying here!

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Wilderness Lodge
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins offer studio, 1-, 2-, 3-bedroom villas AND absolutely stunning waterfront cabins on the Wilderness Lodge resort property. These are the most recently updated rooms on site.
Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge
Boulder Ridge Villas offer studio, 1-, 2-, 3-bedroom villas. They are located in a separate building on the Wilderness Lodge property.

Thank you. I will do that. We are planning on buying and I have a couple of questions. You’re the sweetest. I plan on scheduling a Alaskan cruise for next year through you as soon as my husband feels comfortable doing it. Hopefully midsummer. We’ve had to cancel 3 trips this year and he would like a little time before I start scheduling for next year. Lol

I had reservations on June 1 for breakfast at Whispering Canyon Café, but I had to cancel. I am so sad because I always make a stop here on all of my trips to Disney. I will just have to look forward to next year now. Thanks for the review.
