Splitsville Dining Room in Disney Springs

Updated Review Here

On our trip last month, we arrived late on a Thursday, dropped our bags and jump started the trip with an evening in Disney Springs. We’ve had this on our “list” for a good long while, and finally dined like Kingpins at Splitsville in Disney Springs!

The boys absolutely loved this place and mama had a fine time too! The atmosphere in here was electric, and you are immersed in nostalgic, retro-glam vibes across two floors. What really drew us in were the rumors that you can find the best sushi at Disney in the bowling alley. Say what?? We picked a few things to share from the expansive menu and, lo and behold, it was AMAZING!! We thoroughly enjoyed every last roll. Now, John won’t eat raw fish, but he can vouch for the nachos.

When I couldn’t decide what cocktail to try, the waiter suggested the Bamboo Flight. It’s a tour around the world with three vacation classics, Zombie, Tiki Punch and Pina Colada. Honey helped me finish it all off, but the Pina Colada and Zombie were my favorites. Funny story…

Waiter: (super young, polite and cute) “How do you like your drink? I had an older gentleman in his mid thirties earlier and it was too strong for him”.

Me: “This super old lady in her mid 40s has got this. “

Want to dine on a lane or just want to bowl? Dining and bowling are booked separately, so you will want to pre-book your lanes as well. The mural on the side of the lanes reminds me of the old shopping bags from my childhood.

I last bowled here with girlfriends in 2014! Those Mickey bowling balls are everything.

My family has taken five trips to the most magical place on earth since the reopening – 9 days in July, 10 days in September/October, 7 days over Thanksgiving, 5 days in January and 6 days in February!  We continue to be blown away by the thoughtful, practical and comprehensive precautions Disney has in place to safely welcome guests and cast members. I don’t have all of the words to convey how special it felt to be back. We laughed, we played, we ate too much, and we felt a level of happiness we hadn’t had in too long. I can assure you, magic is there!
