Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party

There is a new way to end your magical day on the sweetest note – The Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party! Sister and I were so excited to book and experience this fun event a few weeks ago.

The evening begins in the Plaza Garden for priority fireworks viewing. You still have to invest a good deal of time holding down your spot, but it is much less crowded than outside of the garden gates. We were able to sit and lounge for a good hour, while most guests were standing in Main Street during that time. I loved seeing the castle projections cycle through their four scenes for the holidays. The only irritating part of this was that the cast members in charge had different “rules” – they said everyone must be on the grass to keep the sidewalk open. And then they would let some people stand on the sidewalk anyway, as if they didn’t want to cause a confrontation. I’m all about rules and consistency.

A few minutes before show time they opened up a few spots in the wheelchair viewing section for guests in our area. Both are nice places to view from and I wouldn’t try to hurry up there if this happens during your party. We watched in awe as Cinderella castle came to life and the skies over Magic Kingdom were lit with fireworks. I personally like Happily Ever After better than Enchantment, but both are spectacular shows worth seeing!

After the fireworks, we headed to the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. The check-in was a bit chaotic but moved quickly. There was a fabulous buffet of 50th Anniversary-themed desserts. Drink selections included a good assortment of beer and wine for Guests ages 21 and over!

We left the park after the massive crowds and were able to soak up the magic! If you have an adult party, or older kids that can stay up late without ruining the next day, I love the after party. There is also a pre-party and a seated party that I recommend for clients based on their own family dynamic!
