In as many times as we’ve been to Disney World, there are still new things to see, do and experience. On our girls trip last month CeeCee asked to visit Disney’s Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. It was so much fun and felt like we were a world away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
Perfect for families and beginner golfers, the Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course invites you to join the reverie as you aim through twirling obstacles, cross fanciful fountains and discover musical surprises.
Beware of the broomsticks, ready to douse golfers who pass below!
As you putt, enjoy the dramatic backdrop of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.
The second course, Fantasia Fairways, resembles a traditional golf course built on a miniature scale, this course emphasizes skill over chance. Sand traps, bunkers, water hazards and sloping greens make the Miniature Golf Course an exciting challenge, where par-3 and par-5 holes range in length from 63 to 109 feet long.
For families, I absolutely recommend Fantasia Gardens over Fantasia Fairways!
When you have a Disney vacation package booked, admission to Fantasia Gardens is included in your Magical Extras! You just need a free afternoon in your itinerary to use them. This course is convenient to the resorts in Disney’s BoardWalk area.
