For my own family, and families with older children or just adults, I love Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs Resort. I recently dined at Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood with a few friends! In this rooftop restaurant, you will enjoy stunning views and savor dishes inspired by the flavors of Spain.
The restaurant is absolutely stunning – a Spanish haven inspired by surrealist art and the 1930s avant-garde. A large pair of olive trees form a canopy under shimmering vaulted ceilings. It just feels special to be here!
Our on-stage tapas kitchen serves small plates, charcutería and cheeses.
Toledo highlights Spanish wines with over 50 choices hand-selected by their Master Sommelier – something our crew took advantage of!
Whether you are seated under an olive tree or next to a window with incredible views, it all feels special.
Toledo is known for their aged, hand-cut Spanish chuletón for two (28-ounce bone-in rib-eye steak) and a variety of sustainable seafood offerings. Everything was beautifully presented.
One of my favorite ways to dine at Toledo is with shared bites and cocktails! In addition to the charcuterie and cheese, favorites are the ‘Aceitunas’ Marinated Olives, Patatas Bravas, Brussels Sprouts.
I truly believe that any evening with friends is time well spent. As mentioned multiple times, Toledo is beautiful and evokes a very special feeling from just being there. The Spanish wines are wonderful. The food, however, was not remarkable. It was fine, but not the best meal I’ve ever had at Disney. I also don’t find Toledo to be a place I’d recommend for families. For adults staying at Coronado with a free evening, I think it is a lovely, enjoyable experience.
