Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk

When staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort for fall break, Honey and I enjoyed a lovely date night at Flying Fish. We’ve so been looking forward to its reopening and were thrilled to find it back and better than ever! The food is delicious and the restaurant is sophisticated and gorgeous.

Step inside and discover a warm, welcoming ambiance that defines luxury dining.

Look closely and you will find a hidden Mickey.  While you can almost forget you are at Disney while dining at Flying Fish, the impeccable service and attention to detail is still present.

Our favorite starters from our visits are the chef’s selection of artisan cheeses and the oak-grilled romaine salad.

Honey’s favorite entree is the Verlasso salmon. He always offers me a bite, but I am so enamored by my own favorite I don’t have room to try his.

Speaking of which, the potato wrapped red snapper is my number one Flying Fish fave. It is SO delicious and unusual. I haven’t enjoyed anything like it outside of Flying Fish and always look forward to it.

If you are not a fish eater, the filet is also wonderful. We have both enjoyed that on past visits.

There are other fantastic signature restaurants at Disney and this is definitely among our favorites.  I would recommend California Grill if staying in the Magic Kingdom area, Jiko in the Animal Kingdom area and Flying Fish in the Epcot / Hollywood Studios area.  There is no sense in traveling all over property when there is good dining to be found so many places.

Abracadabar Lounge

A must stop either before or after any dinner at Flying Fish is Abracadabar! It is one of our top two lounges at Disney!
