Since the opening of Disney’s Riviera Resort, Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino’s Terrace soared to the top of my list for best character dining. This beautiful restaurant offers stunning rooftop views, a delicious menu, exceptional service and darling character interactions!
Breakfast is a price fixe meal with a shared pastry basket for the table and your choice of individual entrees.
We’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu over the course of four visits. The Quiche Gruyère with house-made pancetta, Sour Cream Waffle, and avocado toast are our favorites.
The Mickey waffle kids meal is darling and delicious too! I love the attention to detail with the artist palette plate and dipping sauces.
While enjoying breakfast and the bird’s eye views, Mickey and his friends parade through the restaurant in their stylish outfits unique to Topolino’s Terrace! Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck walk through individually, and also periodically do a mini-parade through the dining room.
The precious Disney friends are back to full interaction, giant hugs, kisses and – of course – selfies!
While the restaurant was offering a signature card, all characters are back to signing autograph books.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this absolutely stunning views from the rooftop terrace. I highly recommend arriving early or staying afterwards for a coffee or mimosa while soaking in the birds-eye view of the resort. Fitting in a meal at Topolino’s is not always logistically feasible but, as always, I work individually with each and every client family to ensure we strike everything off the bucket list in a thoughtful, purposeful manner!
