A Grand Easter in Disney World

Happy Easter, friends! I hope your day has been filled with family, friends, happiness and hope!

I’m working backwards here from our spring break week. After a couple nights in Disney and a week cruising with Royal Caribbean, we landed back in Disney World for a quick Easter celebration. I can’t imagine staying anywhere but the Grand Floridian Resort this time of year!!

We visited the Easter Cottage for sweets and treats, including warm hot cross buns and chocolate bunnies!

We marveled at the Easter egg display, created by Disney chefs all from food!

We spent Easter Saturday in Magic Kingdom. It was a picture perfect day!

The boys were thrilled to ride Tron for the first time. Thumbs up all around!

But the highlight for me was the Easter Parade! It only rolls on Easter weekend and is the cutest, happiest thing ever!

After the parade, we spent the heat of the day at the pool with besties.

That evening, the kids all went back to the park for dinner and rides on their own, which they LOVED! The adults enjoyed a cocktail at Enchanted Rose before a divine dinner at Narcoossee’s. We loved watching the fireworks right from our table, and stepping out onto the verandah for the Electric Water Pageant.

Easter morning I gave the boys their baskets and we enjoyed a delicous lunch with our friends at Grand Floridian Cafe.

We made the long drive home all afternoon and crashed after an incredible week full of family, friends and fun.
