A photo from Whit’s baptism popped up in my memories yesterday and moved me to tears. We only get them in our homes to nurture, love and grow for such a short time in the tapestry of life. So far, I’ve raised them without regret. I’ve tried to make sure they wake up every single morning, leave the house every single day and go to bed every single night knowing the depth and breadth of my love for them. As high school approaches for one, and senior year for the other, I’m so glad we just take the trip. Always take the trip. <3
