If I had to pick one Disney resort to sleep, eat, play and live at for the rest of my life, it would be Grand Floridian! In fact, I’ll be back in just TWO days!

In my opinion, one of the must overlooked and under rated restaurants at the Walt Disney World resort is Grand Floridian Cafe. It is easy to get an advance reservation, and often even available for resort guests to walk up and find a table. The fare is casual American and I love the delightful views of the rose gardens and courtyard.
I’ve enjoyed many meals here over the years! I always make a point to schedule at least one breakfast and one dinner when staying at Grand Floridian. Breakfast usually starts with a cappuccino, and occasionally a mimosa.
They bring hot biscuits to the table to start.
My favorite breakfast items are the benedicts, french toast and waffles.
I can never resist the Brioche French Toast. It’s one of my favorite Disney breakfasts!
The avocado toast is relatively new to the menu and delicious. Look at all of that real avocado! Yum!
And, finally, it’s hard to resist a giant Mickey waffle!
The top dinner item in my family’s opinion is the fried chicken! In fact, when we last ate here, four of the six of us enjoyed it.
I love the heirloom apple salad.
The pan seared salmon is another of my favorites. They recently changed the set up, but I suspect it is just as good.
Of course, the kids always try the mocktails.
You can also get a sweet celebration cake ordered at the host stand! The Mickey dome cakes are delicious and fun.
As much as I love Grand Floridian Cafe, I don’t recommend making a special trip over to dine here. However, for my clients staying here, I try to find a spot in their itinerary! Read a full resort review here:
