After many years, we dined in at Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. The bottom line: it was an excellent meal and we cannot wait to return!
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Inside the New England style eatery you find knotty-pine beams and nautical touches.
High-quality, grain-fed beef is aged in-house and prepared in the open kitchen where you watch butchers hand cut steaks to perfection in the dry-aging room.
We started our meal with the delicious bread service, accompanied with a head of roasted garlic. Divine. We all ate off of the Steakhouse Wedge Salad with Candied Bacon, Farmhouse Eggs, Radish and Smokey Blue Cheese Vinaigrette.
Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The guys chose the New York Strip with Loaded Baked Potato. I went with the Filet with Mashed Potatoes. We added the sauces, Truffle Macaroni & Cheese and Hot-Honey Bourbon Brussels Sprouts, all of which were delicious.
Be sure to save room for a decadent dessert like the Yachtsman’s Chocolate Cake.
Crew’s Cup Lounge
We make a habit of arriving early to our dinners where we can also enjoy a drink in the lounge. Crew’s Cut is a cozy outpost nestled next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse. The atmosphere was lively, drinks perfectly crafted and service friendly. You can also enjoy food selections from the Yachtsman menu if you’re looking for a light meal or don’t have a dinner reservation.
