With my boys growing into young men and John away at Auburn, I want to make the most of our time together next week. I figure they are old enough to know what they enjoy, don’t care much for and would like to do over their holiday week. And so, I did a little Thanksgiving Audit to help me plan and shop for the week! I figure this could be applicable to your family too. Here are the questions they answered (Honey too):
- What meals would you like me to cook?
- What snacks would be nice to have on hand?
- What are your Thanksgiving meal must-haves?
- Are there any places you want to go as a family?
- Any games you want to play?
- Any shows or movies you want to watch?
- Any interest in the neighborhood Turkey Trot?
- Any traditions you want to make sure we keep doing?
- Any new traditions you wish to start?
- Any things we’ve done in the past you don’t want to do again?
- Anything else you want me to know about Thanksgiving or your life in general?

I’ll be doing another one for Christmas – likely with the same questions. :-)

Love it! That’s a very mom managerial approach.
