Universal Orlando {Universal Studios, Diagon Alley, Cowfish}

Honey and I did a long weekend at Universal Orlando and had THE BEST TIME! We drove over Thursday and luxuriously slept in on Friday setting no alarms at all. We woke up to a chilly but gorgeous day at Sapphire Falls Resort.

Honey is not a big breakfast eater had had to take a work call so I headed downstairs for a table for one. My breakfast at Amatista Cookhouse was delicious.

We walked over to start our park day before lunch at Universal Studios.

First things first, we hit Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and did Villain-Con Minion Blast for the first time. We loved it! Then we were off to explore the new DreamWorks land. Super cute for the littlest guests. Afterwards we caught the Hollywood Horror Makeup Show, which we’ve seen before and is great.

I can’t resist a strawberry nutella crepe…

We spent a good deal of time in Springfield, stopping at Duff’s for a beer at the bar. I always chuckle at the “Seven Duff’s” here (as opposed to the seven dwarfs.) We also rode The Simpsons Ride.

We hit Men in Black on the way to London. This is one of my favorite rides. :-) In London we stopped for another bite to eat and the Night Bus.

We slipped between the walls right into Diagon Alley. We are Harry Potter super fans and this never gets old. We explored the shops, rode Gringott’s twice, got butterbeers and watched some friendly wizards doing wand tricks. We rode the Hogwart’s Express over to Hogsmeade and back as well.

After Revenge of the Mummy, our last stop in the park was for drinks!

We rode the water taxi back to the resort at dusk, which was lovely.

After a little siesta, we were back over at CityWalk for dinner at Cowfish.

We love Universal SO MUCH because it is SO EASY. I’d love to show you how!
