UPDATED OCTOBER 2025
Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of being among the first to experience Universal Orlando’s newest theme park: Epic Universe! I spent two full days exploring every “epic” corner, soaking it all in, and gathering plenty of tips, tricks, and insider insights to share with my clients.

Today wraps up my Epic Universe series as we step into the wizarding world like never before — through the grand entrance of the Ministry of Magic. Inspired by both the British and French magical communities, this richly detailed land blends Art Deco elegance with magical mayhem. From spellbinding shops and immersive storytelling to a headlining attraction that puts you face-to-face with dark forces, every corner brims with the wonder and whimsy fans adore. It’s more than a walk through the wizarding world — it’s your chance to step behind the scenes of magical government and stand at the center of the story. I was positively spellbound and it was my favorite land of all!

Attractions in Ministry of Magic
Thrilling adventure, fantastic beasts, and unexplored mystery await in Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. Guests travel by Métro-Floo from Paris to the British Ministry of Magic where Dolores Umbridge is about to stand trial. We were able to do this amazing attractions 3 times in 2 days. The queue is just as fantastic as the ride!

One of my top two experiences in Epic was Le Cirque Arcanus. This is a DO NOT MISS! In an attempt to bring Le Cirque Arcanus back to its former glory, ringmaster Skender has stolen Newt Scamander’s suitcase which contains fantastic beasts from around the globe. It’s up to circus employee Gwenlyn to rescue the creatures in this spectacular mix of live performers, amazing puppetry, dazzling special effects and more.

Inside Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, witches and wizards will find some of the finest wands in the world, designed by esteemed artisan wandmaker, Cosme Acajor. Acajor’s unique approach to wandlore, couture influence, and utilization of distinct wand cores results in an outcome that is not a wand, but a work of art. Plan to include a little wand shopping in your wizarding day!

Then, immerse yourself in the magic by casting spells and interacting with fantastic beasts and enchanted objects throughout wizarding Paris.

I couldn’t get over the street performers in this land. They were so authentic that a few times I was unsure if they were guests or residents!

Dining in Ministry of Magic
Discover cafés in Wizarding Paris, and treat your palate to magical morsels such as Baguette de Dinde, an Alchemist’s Platter, Butterbeer Crepes and more.
Quick Serve Restaurants
Café L’air De La Sirène
What would wizarding Paris be without its charming cafés? Dine inside or outside as you enjoy a quick bite of French-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Café L’air De La Sirène. Everything we enjoyed on both visits was fantastic!

Le Gobelet Noir
Dine at Le Gobelet Noir, a time-worn haunt for Dark witches and wizards to escape the prying eyes of the Paris Ministry.

Snacks & Beverages
Bar Moonshine
Enjoy a taste of home at Paris’s Bar Moonshine, where you’ll find drinks served in a bar decorated with memorabilia of wizarding Americana.

Butterbeer Cart
No trip to the Wizarding World is complete without a butterbeer. In fact, I enjoyed this lovely treat both days. :-)

Ministry of Magic After Dark
As the sun sets, the glowing Art Deco architecture and cobblestone streets take on a who new feel. The entire land feels more immersive… wand duels feel a bit more dramatic, the atmosphere a touch more secretive, and every corner invites you to linger just a little longer. It was my favorite time to explore. We stayed in this land a full hour after park closing and it felt like we had stumbled into a hidden magical world all our own.
