Earlier this month, Honey and I had the joy and honor of celebrating a handful of his GT SAE fraternity brothers turning 50 and it was truly one of the most memorable trips. Even sweeter, this was a group trip I had the privilege of planning from start to finish… and we were lucky enough to be included in the fun! Traveling with lifelong friends, their spouses, sunshine, great food and zero responsibilities? Pure bliss.
I coordinated all of the bookings, payments, transfers, room requests and questions so that everyone could simply show up and relax. And the best part? The Resort
Atelier Playa Mujeres is a luxury adults-only all-suite resort located just north of Cancun, and it is now firmly at the top of my list. It blends art, architecture, service and culinary experiences in a way that feels modern, beautiful and peaceful all at once. Every space was stunning and the service was just great.

How We Spent Our Days
The magic of this trip was in the rhythm of doing everything and nothing. We had 14 couples and a big party of 28 in total!

It was the kind of trip you don’t want to end. So many stories were told and re-told. Many even wilder than back in the day. There’s something really special about being with people you’ve known since you were a teenager.
Would We Go Back?
A resounding YES.
In fact… my ZTA Mahjong group loved hearing about our trip so much that they contacted me to book a January getaway. I cannot wait to return.
