Topolino’s Terrace Dinner at Disney’s Riviera Resort

On each of our now 15 stays at Disney’s Riviera Resort, one of the highlights is always dinner at Topolino’s Terrace. This beautiful rooftop restaurant offers stunning views, a delicious menu and exceptional service. It is truly one of our must-do experiences.

Topolino’s is the signature dining experience at Riviera, with an open kitchen and wood-burning grill that bring both energy and artistry to the space. The design is just as memorable as the meal, with a modern interpretation of the textures, colors and stonework found in villages along the Mediterranean coast.

One of my favorite parts of the evening is time spent on the rooftop terrace. I highly recommend arriving early or lingering after dinner for a drink. The cocktails are beautifully prepared and feel even more special with the sweeping views. My favorite is the Pomegranate Paradiso, while Honey always orders the Modern Fashioned with its signature Riviera ice cube. From this vantage point, you can see from Animal Kingdom all the way to Hollywood Studios.

The menu does change seasonally, which keeps things fresh and exciting, but there are several standout dishes that remain consistent and keep us coming back time and time again.

For starters, the Ricotta is an absolute must and our unanimous favorite. It is not to be missed. We have also enjoyed the Olives Marinées, seasonal soups, burrata offerings, and the beets, which are as beautiful as they are delicious.

For pasta, the Rigatoni is a favorite for my boys and has become their go-to order. The Lobster Linguine is rich and absolutely divine.

When it comes to entrées, the Filet and the Sole are tied for my top choice and are consistently excellent. Honey is a fan of both the Filet and the French Veal Chop, and we have also enjoyed seasonal offerings like the Braised Lamb Shank.

We always add a vegetable side, typically the brussels sprouts or broccolini depending on the season, and they never disappoint.

And then there is dessert.

The Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake is worth every single bite and absolutely worth saving room for. I skipped it on early visits and will never make that mistake again. Whit is partial to the Tiramisu Creme Brulee.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this absolutely stunning views from the rooftop terrace. I highly recommend arriving early or staying afterwards for a cocktail or cappuccino while soaking in the birds-eye view of the resort.

Topolino’s is one of those restaurants where the entire experience comes together. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the views all deliver in a way that feels special every time. In fact, I have chosen it for my family birthday dinner two years in a row, and we all agree it is a star.

Fitting it into your trip is not always easy from a logistics standpoint, but it is always worth it. As always, I work with each of my clients to thoughtfully plan their days and dining so that experiences like this fit seamlessly into their vacation.
