Fruit and Yogurt

Here in Georgia, we’re in the throes of an Indian summer (doesn’t that just remind you of the old Brooks and Dunn diddy?).  The pool has closed and the seersucker has made it’s way to the backs of our closets but it’s as hot as fresh milk around these parts.  So when the PCP makes his way off the big yellow bus each afternoon I try to have an ice cold drink and wholesome snack waiting on him.  This one was a sweet success!
I picked these darling Martha Stewart for Macy’s ice cream molds up on clearance for four dollars last month, but you could use the same process for any mold.
The layers are as follows:
– 2 bananas, pureed
– 1 cup fresh strawberries pureed with 1 tsp sugar
– non-fat organic vanilla yogurt
Pour them in, freeze and enjoy!!

  1. Sounds like a fun and healthy treat! Will have to try it. Love your blog – great mix of decorating and ideas for moms. Wish there was this kind of sharing when my girls were younger…but they're not too old for the yogurt pops…and neither am I!
