Last November I made a “Give Thanks” tree to hang in the play room for the month.
Every day we each add a construction paper leaf to the tree with something for which we are thankful.
Anything goes on the this tree…everything from God to Happy Meals popped up last year. To kick off 2011, the PCP was thankful for his Pokemon cards the Switch Witch left him, Cookie is thankful for games outside, I am thankful for my family and Honey is thankful for his two boys.
On Thanksgiving we take the leaves off the tree and read through them, feeling immensely grateful for all of the blessings in our lives!

Flattered for the feature at Bacon Time!
What a sweet idea :)
I love this idea so much! Is your tree fabric? Did you freehand it?
Fantastic idea! Love it!
Jennifer – Yes, it's all fabric. The backing and green top of the tree are felt, the trunk is burlap and the letters are just remnants. I did free hand it all. I'm not good at all at stuff like that but it's hard to mess up a tree :-) Glad you like it!!
Very cute, love it! I would love for you to come link up at my TGIF Linky Party – http://livinglifeintentionally.blogspot.com/search/label/Linkey%20Parties
