With a constant mist of rain coming down this weekend, I spent most of the weekend snuggled inside with my three favorite boys. And The Hunger Games trilogy. Turning pages while I cook, reading on the short drive to and from mass, staying up well into the wee hours of the night…essentially spell bound by this riveting tale resplendent with love, war, loss and triumph.
Do yourself a favor and DON’T start reading unless you are willing to just let the littles turn the house into disrepair, the dishes pile up and the laundry baskets overflow. I’m halfway through book three and there’s no way I’m going to bed until I’m done.

They were a fantastic read!!! I'm looking forward to the movie in March. Since you seem to enjoy the same type of books as I do. I'd like to recommend the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning to you. Honestly, Its the best book series I've ever read. Be forewarned, if you read them you'll become addicted. :)
I LOVED the Hunger games and with my new kindle fire, it made it a little too easy to knock out all three in a weekend a few weeks back! Can't wait for the movie in March!
Isn't The Hunger Games trilogy addicting!? I can't wait to see the movie in March. You'll have to read Divergent by Veronica Roth next. It's a similar type of book (the second comes out in May I believe) and it is equally addictive!
Loved them!! Even had the father of one of my daughter's friends ask to borrow them the other day. That was surprising, since my husband would not touch them….or Twilight….or a bevy of others with a ten foot pole!
