First things first, I’m beyond flattered to have our basement featured over at Eclectically Vintage today! Go check it out here. And thank you Kelly for the kind words – you sure know how to make a girl’s day!
A few weeks back the PCP’s class took a field trip to the UPS Store and each child was invited to send a letter to anyone of their choosing. John sweetly sent his letter to “Mom and Dad” and it positively blew my skirt up when it showed up in our box. I never could have imagined a day when something so small could seem so big…my baby is writing and reading and just growing up in the blink of an eye.
In the event you don’t read at a Kindergarten level, let me translate for you…”I miss you at school. I love you. I will see you on the weekend. I wish you can see me. You miss me too? You are nice! Love, John”
Be still my heart.
xoxo
How cute – I saved my girls funny little notes telling me I'm the world's best mom (I'll read them when they are temporarily hating me as teens)!
Kelly
Those are the best letters ever. I used to save all that stuff. About 10 years ago I created a full album and accompanying "container" of all the kids letters and artworks. They spent the whole of Christmas Day pouring over those things and laughing and crying a bit (I did the crying). I love your little letter. xo Diana
ps. I saw the sweet nod to you over at Eclectically Vintage. Very nice~
Precious!
I am having those "melt your heart moments" with my K child as well. What a sweet letter and a keeper.
Laura

I like his "you are nice". Haha! Life should be filled with that simple, sincere comment.
