We are just a few days away from summer and the Kindergarteners celebrated with a family picnic earlier this week. The room mom presented our teachers with darling pencil vases and generous gift cards from class contributions but we wanted to give our own little gifts as well (see more here.) A jaunt to Ikea birthed the eleven dollar idea for these soft side coolers ($8 with the free family card), sets of plastic plates and cups ($1.50 each), napkins and straws (already had) bearing the message “Thanks for a great year! Hope you have fun in the sun this summer!” (Note: I purchased one set of yellow and one set of pink for plates and cups and then mixed the two.)
We enjoyed a fantastic evening picnicing with friends and teachers and look forward to many more years at this great school!
We’ve got our end of season baseball party tonight. Things are wrapping up left and right around these parts!!

Excited for the feature at Tip Junkie!
How very, very cute! I love this time of year when there are so many things wrapping up and soon the kids will be "free" for summer fun-xo Diana
nice original idea! Love that you got all the stuff inside for a low cost!
