As mentioned yesterday, Serenbe is an eclectic little community with a handful of darling shoppes and eateries. On our jaunt into town we checked it all out.
We enjoyed a scrumptious lunch on the upper patio at The Hil, a restaurant centered around simple, farm-fresh cuisine. The crab cake sandwich was positively divine!
After lunch we perused the shoppes…
After shopping the strip, we ventured out to the stables.
And, after our tour of the HGTV Green Home (more on that tomorrow!), we enjoyed a yummy light dinner of salads and pimento cheese sandwiches at the darling Blue Eyed Daisy Bake Shop.
With the last week of school upon us, somehow our little get away already seems like it was ages ago :-)

PS. I’m writing this on Sunday night from a tailgate chair on my partially finished porch!!! There is the most wonderful breeze and the first fireflies I’ve seen this season are dancing in the trees. L.O.V.E.
I'm glad you are posting about Serenbe! I had already told my husband about the HGTV home and I sent him the link to the Inn after you posted. I'm hoping I'm planting a seed for our anniversary in September!
You two are just having too much fun. Between the food and great shopping and sites well it all looks and sounds just too fabulous. Hope you too continue having a great time and sharing it with us!

Those shops are calling me.
What a way to spend a day!
