Two of my best gals and I boarded a bus for one of Living Social’s North Georgia Winery Tours today! Over the course of the day, we sampled fourteen wines (and left with a half case to split) at two of Georgia’s award-winning wineries – Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Frogtown Cellars. The tour was $59 and they are going on for the rest of the month. Rising Roll eats were available for purchase for the easy hour and twenty minute bus ride. The boxed lunch was good, but small and a stretch to call gourmet :-) Both wineries were enjoyable, but if I could only visit one, we unanimously agreed that we’d pick Wolf Mountain. The family was extremely welcoming and we loved all of their wines. And we were given a little snack bag for the ride home. We left Atlanta at 9:15 and were back at around 4:15. It was a delightful and memorable afternoon indeed! xoxo

Wow – that is a great deal at $59! Sounds like lots of fun!
Oh it sounds like such a fun day. We have loved the tours of the wineries in Northern Calif. This looks great. Hugs, Marty
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wolf. I work for one of their preferred wedding photographers and we always try to have our client meetings up there as an excuse for brunch/lunch!!
Beautiful photos!
A day with your best gals and wine? Sounds perfect to me!
As a native North Georgian, the next time you up our way, discover the fresh peaches and veggies at Jaemor Farms on Hwy 365 then come on over to Clermont for fresh milk and yummy ice cream at Mountain Fresh Creamry. Clermont celebrates it's Centennial on Sept. 20 and 21st during Ckermont Days, replete with fireworks your boys would love!! CTurner
CTurner – Thanks for the recommendations! I'd love to check it out!! A
Nice collocation of picture about wine testing.
