After sampling the original Spodee “wine with a kick” back in March, we were thrilled to be some of the first Atlantans to uncap the new Spodee White at our Star Spangled Fourth party last week!!
Just like the original variant, Spodee White is a wine fortified with moonshine and packs a 36 proof punch. With notes of toasted coconut, pineapple and amaretto it’s essentially summer in a bottle!
We mixed up our own version of the Spodee White Sangria and let me just tell y’all – it’s yummy!!
Spodee White Sangria
3 parts Spodee White
2 parts Dasani Sparkling Berry
1 part pineapple juice
Fresh fruit – I used raspberries, strawberries and blueberries for the Fourth
Be on the lookout as Spodee White will be hitting the shelves of Atlanta this month. We’ve got a little left in the bottle so pop on by for a glass on the porch if you’re in my neck of the woods tonight :-)
Now, it’s July 9th and I’d be remiss if I didn’t wish Sister the happiest of birthdays today!!!! She’s funny and fabulous and the very best friend, aunt and mother. I wish we could celebrate with you today but, as usual, we will wait for the beach!!!
Wish us luck – we’re off to the ER for round 3 of bat proofing. The gift that just keeps on giving.
xoxo
I love that pic of us! Can't wait to celebrate at the beach!!!

That is the sweetest pic of you and your sister!
Happy Birthday to your sweet sister. Love that picture. Good luck at the ER (try not to drop your book this time ;-)
The only sensible thing to do when you get home from the ER is pour yourself a drink my friend!
You can see your niece in your sister's younger self!
Hi Amanda,
My husband deals with bat issues quite frequently in the summer camp business here in Western North Carolina. You can go to your local health department for the rest of the series much more affordably than the ER. If any other question feel free to ask! I'll be happy to help!
I wish that were the case in GA! Only carry it at the hospitals. :-(
