French Toast Pancakes

Did y’all know that one of the hallmark breakfast foods of my college days is back?!?!  That’s right folks, French Toast Crunch is once again a thing.  And while my littles have thoroughly enjoyed gobbling up the little itsy bitsy toast shaped cereal pieces up, Honey and I were super excited to try this old fave in the form of French Toast Pancakes!DSC_0037 copy

French Toast Pancakes
Makes 10 small pancakes
2 cups Bisquick
1 1/2 cups French Toast Crunch cereal, finely crushed (I used the cuisinart)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/3 cups milk
2 eggs
1. Heat griddle over medium heat and grease.  Stir pancake ingredients with a fork until blended.
2. Pour batter onto hot griddle.  Cook until edges are dry.  Turn; cook other side until golden.
3. Top with syrup, additional cereal, powdered sugar and fruit!

The littles honed in on these and loved them too.  We’ll be making this one again…

  1. Guess what just got put on the grocery list??? Those pancakes look fantastic, can't wait to try them! (Love the Ikat plates too.) Hope you and your family have a fun Valentine's Day & can't wait to hear how much fun the kids had with the Whoopie cushion valentines.
