FabFitFun Review

The *fab* people at fabfitfun sent me their Spring 2016 edition box for review, and I have to say it’s pretty good!

Each box includes a mini-mag describing the contents of what’s inside, including product descriptions, coupon codes and prices, as well as beauty and well being tips, tricks and articles.

The spring box contained a variety of items:

  1. A darling kitchen herb garden DIY kit including everything you need to grow basil, mint and thyme (Mother got mine set up for me when she was in town since Honey demolished my garden … a story for another day!) $35
  2. ISH Contour Kit including blush, highlighter, bronzer and a contour.  I’m more excited about this than anything! $32
  3. Jus D’Amour Bath Bomb Trinity in eucalyptus, peppermint and lime – the littles happily claimed these since the big blue tub give me the heebie jeebies…  $28
  4. Bodipure Inc. Keratin Gloves & Socks that provide a waterless, all-in-one hand and foot treatment to strengthen nails and moisturize.  SO FUN!  I wore mine while catching up on Rein and it felt like a spa night. $9.98
  5. Jook & Nona Tag Necklace – This 18k gold-plated tag necklace says “dream” on it. Super sweet and fun to wear! $65
  6. Shaving Emulation Lotion by HelloLegs, which left me with a revolutionized shaving experience.  I wouldn’t spend $20 on it, but it sure is fun to use! $19.95
  7. Marrakesh Argan & Hemp Oil Therapy for smooth, silky locks.  I borrowed some Argan oil from a bestie on a recent girls trip and immediately wanted to purchase.  I promptly forgot about that so was super excited when it showed up on my doorstep.  My hair is thin and fine so a teensy bit goes a long way.  $22.99
  8. Merrithew Yoga Mat Strap doubles as a resistance cord for strength training.  Meh, I don’t yoga so I don’t have a use for this one.  BUT, the littles have done all sorts of exercises with it, lol $14.99
  9. 31 Bits $25 Gift Card to go towards jewelry handmade by artisans in Uganda. They have some CUTE things!  $25
  10. Sterling Forever $30 Gift Card – cute stuff but I really don’t need any more jewelry.  Up for grabs if anyone wants it.  $30

Each seasonal box runs at $49.99 including shipping and contains over $200 worth of full-sized products.  There are four boxes per year, and I believe there is a discount if you buy the whole year.  As far as subscription boxes go, I think this one has a great mix of beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness and home.  If you like trying new products or are looking for a gift idea, it’s a good choice.

If you’re interested in trying fabfitfun, use the code AMANDAW to save $10 off of your subscription.  I did get the box for free to try, but don’t have any sort of affiliate relationship with the company… just passing along my thoughts and a code :-)

xoxo

  1. Amanda, The fabfitfun box sounds delightful. If no one has claimed as yet, I would love to “grab” the Sterling Forever” $30 gift card you mentioned. Just went to site and they have loads of lovely things.
Thoroughly enjoy reading each and every detail of your beautiful home. I always look forward to each new post.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend (and the sun is shining for you)!
Best regards, Wrenda (a southern girl as well)

  2. Long time admirer, first time comment…I would LOVE the sterling gift card if you are serious about giving it away. My daughter’s 10th birthday is coming up and I would like to get her started on “real” jewelry.

Seriously I read your blog every day. Your house is my absolute favorite. My house is somewhat similar to yours so you are a source of inspiration for me (although I lack your sewing skills!). I especially enjoyed your series on LA since that is where I grew up and went to college (UCLA). I ate plenty of Diddy Reese cookies…they used to sell day old cookies for next to nothing at that is what all the students bought. I grew up 30 minutes from Disneyland and went all the time. One time I was able to go to a private party where they kept the park open until 2 a.m.

I wish I had your celebratory skills with all the cute things you plan for your kids, but I love seeing what you do. Keep up the good work! ❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️

  3. Just ordered my first FabFitFun box and used your code for $10 off. I enjoy reading your blog!!!
    I’m not a blogger, maybe one day……..
