I was going through some old photos earlier this week trying to hunt down a few from when we first finished the family office and I came across this gem randomly saved in my August 2014 folder!
That was *mostly* my high school crew. A few extras thrown in and a few missing, but you get the overall idea. The height of fashion and coolness, no? What can I say… were were the Engineering and Robotics Academy (similar to a magnet school these days) at Jenkins High School. A total “nerd herd” as they used to call us. I was self-aware enough to accept the moniker at face value. We were nerds and we did run around in a herd (by design of the administration.)
Anyhoo… since it’s graduation season I thought it would be fun to share. Somehow those twenty-two years (gulp) seem like yesterday.

I have a similar picture somewhere in my scrapbook somewhere!! I went to grad nite in 1995!!! I am 99.999% sure we saw Britney Spears and Shenandoah (the country band) perform at the festivities… and I know I rode space mountain like 15 times that night, along with thunder mountain, and then on the way out, at 5 am, I grabbed a giant lollipop from the Main St. Confectionery. That night was a blast! I wonder if my mom still has my MIckey Mortarboard?

Oh the 90s and its oh so flattering fashions. I’m a 95′ grad and I swear I had a dress that looked almost exactly like your dress. But I’m from Texas so in all my high school pics everyone had sky high hair, or bangs anyway. Cause, you know, “the higher the hair the closer to God”. Good times! :-)
I was at the same grad night and remembering you have to dress up to go. I know for I wore a dress similar to the ones in the pictures. I had a lot of fun. I also rememeber everyone chatting at the end of the night we want out because it was such a long night and everyone was so tired. :)
