At Home with Eleven Gables

I am so excited to give y’all a peek into what must be one of Oklahoma’s loveliest homes, Eleven Gables. Emily has a fabulous updated traditional style, favors everything blue and white, and is mom to four boys! Since 2006, Emily has worked tirelessly to update every single room and bring her signature style to Eleven Gables. The before and after pictures are so inspiring, and you will absolutely want to check them out. For now, sit back, relax, and enjoy the tour!

ENTRY

The original entry was dated with dark wood trim and glazed walls. Emily recently worked to get the entire space painted in a fresh clean white and it makes such a tremendous difference. I adore the blue and white on the entry table and love her traditional rug.

LIVING ROOM

The living room is one of the most recent updates at Eleven Gables and it simply stunning. The vaulted ceiling is just an jaw-dropper and that mirror is perfect in the space. Again, Emily brings in her love of blue and white pottery and crisp, fresh white walls. In this particular room, I love how her slip covered sofa, coffee table trunk, and layered rugs give a casual, welcoming feel to what could be a very cold and formal room. I also love that Emily does not shy away from loads of family pictures. It is definitely something that makes her house a home and is a reflection of the people that truly live there.

DINING ROOM

Like the other downstairs spaces, this room is also bright and white. I love the simplicity of the parsons chairs, practicality of the glass topped table (remember the four boys?!), and luxurious accents like the persian rug, starburst mirror and chinoiserie chest.

KITCHEN

This absolutely stunning kitchen has probably broke Instagram a thousand times. There are so many things I love about it… the lighting, the glass front cabinets full of blue and white china, the picture window overlooking the pool, the practical and lovely bar stools (and having enough for the whole fam), the toile drapes, the brick floor. I mean, really. I could go on all day. She also has room for a breakfast table and it is equally as lovely and functional as the rest of the space.

BUTLER’S PANTRY

This absolutely stunning space is home to Emily’s laundry operation, pantry and craft storage. It started as a laundry closet and is now one of the most functional and lovely spaces I’ve ever seen. You can see all of the details here.

PORCH

Y’all know how I love a good porch. Well, this one does not disappoint. Of course, I also adore all of her Lilly accessories mixed with graphic black and whites.

EXTERIOR

Not only is Emily a whiz inside, but she’s also an enviable gardener. I am constantly in awe of her vision and ability to roll her sleeves up and just get the hard work done. This picturesque lake is actually on the Eleven Gables property!
