I am SO excited to take y’all inside to meet one of my very favorite bloggers – Jennifer at Dimples & Tangles. Like many of our other guests, I have had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer in real life and she is just delightful. I love how much she loves her husband and family and how she makes her house such a beautiful home for them to enjoy.
Jennifer’s entry is a wonderful reflection of all of the color, textures and happy style you’ll find as you move further into her home. She has her signature base of gold, black and green here and then carries it throughout the other rooms. I love that she frequently change up the entry for seasons and holidays. Seriously, every time I see one I think “no way she’ll top this”. And then she does. :-)
I could pore over the pictures of Jennifer’s family room a thousand times and probably never soak in every detail. She has masterfully layered colors, textures and patterns in this lively and welcoming space. You couldn’t tell it from looking, but many of her items are craigslist and thrift store finds!!!
This breakfast room is one I have admired for ages. I love her chandelier, brick floor, botanical gallery wall, blue and white curtains… I could go on and on and on. She is the very best I know at setting a wonderful table to boot.
The formal dining room is another space that is frequently changing at Jennifer’s house. I love how she boldly painted the china cabinet green but then makes it work for every season, holiday and celebration!! You HAVE to pour through her seasonal home tours linked at the very end of this post to see just a handful of her table setting. I also adore the fabric on the backs of her chairs and wish I was daring and colorful enough to use it in my own home :-)
Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the fact that Jennifer HAND PAINTED the walls and HAND MADE all of that amazing molding?! You read that right friends! I adore this space and have always thought that a powder room is the perfect place to get crazy with pattern. I love the pink and black combo here and think she knocked this one out of the park!
The master bedroom is one of her more recent room renos and is another wonderfully layered and colorful space. She has links to TONS of DIYs in her post and you really won’t believe the retreat she was able to create. Definitely click over to see the rest of the room – the sitting area is so fantastic that it could be a family room!!
I am a sucker for good boy’s rooms. They are not a dime a dozen like girl rooms, in my opinion. Jennifer has a knack for gallery walls and displaying collections of items and I love what she did with this space. I feel a bit of a room update coming for John in the next two years or so and love the inspiration from this space.
Jennifer’s daughter’s room is just as fun and colorful as the rest of the house. I mean, I LOVE the way every room flows to the next! Like the rest of the house, this room is filled with DIYs and Jennifer always shares the sources and how-tos on her blog.
I will leave y’all with this incredible patio. It was a new addition to her home and is just the perfect outdoor space. She has infused so much life into this patio with colors, layers and a thoughtful floor plan. I can imagine that her family and friends must never want to leave. Be sure to click over to see ALL the fabulous details!
I hope that y’all enjoyed the peek behind the curtain at Dimples & Tangles. You truly MUST pop on over there for more pictures, sources, and DIY ideas. Jennifer has created a lovely home and, like I said at the get go, is one of my very favorite bloggers. THANK YOU for letting us come inside!!
