We started our last full day like all the rest, with an indulgent breakfast at our hotel.
BERLIN WALL BIKE TOUR
Our first activity of the day was a Berlin Wall Bike Tour! We pedaled through history with another incredible step on guide. We visited new neighborhoods that we hadn’t seen before on our trip, as well as the Berlin Wall Memorial. Many adventurers said this was their very favorite activity in Berlin!!

AFTERNOON ON OUR OWN – THE BADESCHIFF
At the suggestion of our Adventure Guides, Kaleigh and I opted to act like locals and spent our afternoon sunning, swimming and relaxing at The Badeschiff! This fun spot is a beach area and swimming pool literally IN the Spree River. We had such a great afternoon and had our first American meal of the trip – a HUGE hamburger. :-) Afterwards, we raced into Ritter Sport to get custom chocolate bars made for our families back home.
FAREWELL DINNER AT CLÄRCHENS BALLHAUS
I have to say that I never expected to grow so close to my fellow Adventurers and Adventure Guides in just 9 days. But I did! We met in the hotel to reminisce about our week, our favorite activities, and so much more. We laughed and cried and, at the very end, our Adventure Guides showed us our trip in review in a wonderful slide show. I don’t think I have mentioned before that they take pictures ALL day long at every group event. They not only put together a slide show, but they also sent each of us a download link to the photos.
After the reception, we were off to Clarchens Ballhaus, an authentic 19th-century ball room that is home to a vibrant dance and live music scene. We had a fantastic feast and ended our night tearing up the dance floor to 80s tunes. It was an extraordinary trip and a memorable farewell.
