Jay celebrated his 10th birthday this weekend with a Star Wars dark side skating soiree!
Sister set up a fabulous cake and favor table in the party loft. The rink definitely had a galactic feel to it. She always uses Bee Caked for her kid parties. They are beautiful and tasty.
For party favors she filled clear tubes with red sixlets and added paper handles to make them into light sabers.
When the storm trooper showed up just in time for the cake, the kids went wild!
The adults (Honey, my brother in law and myself) had just as much fun skating as the kids. It was like stepping back in time to the 80s. Whit and John were pretty impressed that us oldies had moves on the rink. However, both declined my offer to backwards couple skate – can you imagine?! HA!
It was such a fun celebration of a decade of Jay (Bird). He’ll always be that to us!
