Disney’s Garden Grill Restaurant in Epcot

Garden Grill is the character dining location in Epcot featuring Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. The restaurant is located in The Land pavilion and features a family-style all you are to eat menu.

We have loved the harvest-inspired garden salad and rolls since our very first visit years ago. On this trip, we all enjoyed the grilled beef with chimichurri and the boys were big fans of the turkey with gravy. Many of the veggies are grown in the Living with the Land greenhouses, which is really neat after riding that attraction.

The restaurant itself is pretty unremarkable aside from the novel fact that it rotates through the scenes from the Living with the Land ride below, including a rainforest, farmhouse, thunderstorm, sandstorm and prairie. You will definitely want to request a table on the lower level when you check-in to make the most of this.

While we enjoy the food, the kids have always loved this particular set of characters! Look at these babies…

We ended up at Garden Grill this time as a “kids choice”. When I asked Jay and Whit where they’d like to eat, they both unanimously asked for Garden Grill!

While I do enjoy Garden Grill, I will be honest and say it isn’t my first choice in Epcot. With the nearly year-round festival foods and all of the fantastic options in the World Showcase, there is always something that edges it out.

  1. My girls love this restaurant. It typically is their birthday dinner, so always a “kid’s choice” in their book.
