Lucky Leprechaun Brunch

Since we watched mass online, I decided to swap out our usual Sunday Supper for a Lucky Leprechaun Brunch!

I had shopped for this meal during my regular grocery run earlier in the week. It was originally planned for St. Patrick’s Day morning but was afraid none of my rainbow fruit would be left by then with the kids suddenly home all day. :-)

I didn’t purchase a single thing decor wise for our table. I used all of my usual tricks with things all left from prior celebrationsโ€ฆ a wrapping paper runner, paper confetti, tissue bunting on the mirror, colored napkins and themed dinner plates and cups.

I used our favorite Krusteaz (not sponsored) Belgian waffle mix and tinted it green with paste food coloring.

For toppings, I warmed the syrup, pulled the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms, and put rainbow sprinkles and chocolate chips in a bowl.

I really wanted to use my black pots of gold. I guess these are pots of bacon.

This is the last of the leprechaun mustache straws.

It was a much needed, very cheerful breakfast!

Hope you and yours stay well!

  1. I won’t be going as homemade as your brunch but some friends mentioned that Krispy Kreme will deliver for $5 so I have a dozen green donuts scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. I did set the table festively using a lot of your ideas. Thanks for this bright spot on the internet. Stay healthy.

    1. Thank you so much! Our KK was due to arrive 5 minutes ago. Excited to surprise the kids with something from “the outside”. Stay well friend. xo
