Around Atlanta {The Select}

Honey and I headed out for our first dine-in restaurant experience since my birthday in early March for our anniversary a couple of weeks ago! After much searching and consideration, we settled on a The Select in Sandy Springs. It was completely new to us and we had a phenomenal experience – from the service to the food to the care they took to create a safe feeling environment.

I absolutely loved the decor inside, which they call 1920’s French atmosphere. I really liked these plexi glass dividers they constructed between the booths. I realize their exact purpose, but as a bonus we really couldn’t hear the conversation of the people sitting next to us. It felt private without being locked in a dark booth somewhere!

If you’re curious about other safety precautions, they have the doors propped open, take touch-less temps, all employees wear masks and change gloves between every table, sanitizer is provided in a bottle on the table and the menus are disposable.

We started with cocktails and the butcher’s block charcuterie.

For dinner, Honey had the Steak Frites and I did the Miso Sea Bass. Both were excellent!

For dessert we had the apple tart and they surprised us with champagne in celebration of our anniversary!

While any anniversary is a celebration, this night out felt particularly special as the first one in so long! We will definitely be back!
