We’ve been exceedingly good about starting our day with healthy breakfasts for about six weeks straight. Since it was a holiday weekend, I took a break from smoothies and greek yogurt and eggs full of veggies to enjoy one of our favorites… Mickey waffles! You just never outgrow these. :-)
I have the 90th Anniversary Mickey Waffle Maker and it works like dream! It puts out 6 waffles at a time and they look just like the ones you find in Disney destinations. (Up until about 18 months ago, I previously had this Mini Mickey Waffle Maker.)
I use Krusteaz belgian waffle mix. Disney is rumored to use this waffle mix. I have not yet tried it but should!
To make the Minnie bow, cut the stem off of a strawberry then slice it in half lengthwise. Put the two points together and voila! I dust ours with powdered sugar.
I’ve been dying to try this frosted cinnamon honey I picked up at Capital Bee Co. on our trip down to Savannah a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely delicious an I may never want to use syrup again.
Have a great week ahead!
