Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot

UPDATED REVIEW 2023

One of our all time favorite Disney restaurants is Le Cellier Steakhouse, beautifully tucked away in the Canada Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase.  We eat here on almost every trip, with our selections ranging from just soup to three course meals depending on the visit.

The ambiance inside is wonderful.  The dining room is quite small and set under sweeping stone arches and flickering candle sconces to resemble the wine cellars of grand château-style hotels like Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and Fairmont Château Laurier.

Now, on to the food!  Your meal with start with bread service. Even the butter is delicious.

I find the ice wines to be too sweet but a flight is a fun option. One one recent occasion I tried the Ottawa Apple and really enjoyed it.

Our number one favorite thing to eat in Epcot is the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup.  Sometimes we come for lunch and only eat this.  It is delectable with the pretzel bread that comes with the bread service.

We have also tried the mussels and poutine, but if you plan to enjoy a steak that’s way too much food. :-)

The Le Cellier Filet Mignon with Mushroom Risotto, Asparagus-Tomato Relish and Truffle-Butter Sauce is either my #1 or #2 thing to eat in Disney… ever! (With the other being steak and sushi at California Grill.) It is absolutely delicious.

Honey and the boys like a larger steak, and all agree that the Rib-Eye Steak with Warm Fingerling Potato Salad, Bacon, Wilted Spinach, Capers, Whole-Grain Mustard Sauce, Bordelaise Butter is their favorite.

They’ve also tried the New York Strip Steak with Truffled Fingerling Potatoes, Chimichurri and Crispy Onions. You really can’t go wrong! Between the four of us we usually order three steaks.

Our collective favorites from the enhancements menu are the five cheese mac and cheese and maple glazed Brussels sprouts.  Yum!!!  We rarely have room for dessert but when we do it is the maple creme brulee.

If you go…

  • Le Cellier is a signature dining location.
  • Reservations are recommended and are difficult to get inside of 60 days, particularly for parties larger than 4.

If you are in Epcot during a festival, always check the Canada outdoor kitchen menu for the soup as it is often served there. We recently recreated the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup at home with great success! You can read about it here:

  1. Its been a while since we last had a meal at Le Cellier steakhouse @EPCOT but I remember how great the food was and would highly recommend it. Our other favorite is the Rose and Crown as my husband and I both love their delicious fish and chips. I am definitely saving room for dessert next time and trying the maple creme brulee.

I just saw today on the news that Disney isnt selling season passes to new subscribers this year so that might be disappointing to many who wished to purchase season tickets for the first time.

    1. I love Rose and Crown too! They haven’t been selling the annual passes since the closure last March – it’s strange that news is just now coming out everywhere! I guess since Disneyland just announced the end of their program.
