Happy Birthday Daddy-O

It’s Daddy-O’s birthday today and I’m sending well wishes from afar!!

I so wish that we were spending the day with him doing one of his favorite things…. floating in the pool, riding hands up on a roller coaster, napping in the recliner (oh, what I wouldn’t give for a nap), dining on takeout from Sundae Cafe, organizing a zip lock bag stash, scratching Watson, and so on and so forth.

This man has spent four and a half decades of coming to my rescue, being my cheerleader and fiercely loving me. From printers to accidently parking my car on a boulder to walking me down the aisle to stepping in as a dad for Honey when he lost his too soon, he’s always there.
