One of my favorite spots in Epcot has reopened in a gorgeous, reimagined space and I am SO EXCITED! Club Cool is located in the World Celebration neighborhood and features Coca-Cola products from around the world, as well as cool souvenirs.
Whit and I waited in the rather quick line for our turn inside. This brought back so many old, funny memories – both from our family visits to Club Cool over the years and from my old Coca-Cola shirts, swimsuits and gear as a child. My family’s love of Coke runs deep and wide.
The new tasting bar is a huge improvement over the old one in that each party gets their own soda fountain for tasting!! This is a covid change that I sure hope sticks! When it was our turn, a cast member wiped down the fountain after the previous party and then waved us over. We got as long as we liked to taste, laugh, take pics, and send videos to Honey (working back in the room). As always, Beverly was the drink we love to hate.
In the back of the shop you can still get your Coke slushees. I haven’t thought about this in a long, long time but I sure do miss having those at work. I enjoyed a frozen Coke almost every day of my 19 year career at The Coca-Cola Company. I haven’t had one since.
I always include a tip to pop in Club Cool in my client itineraries. It’s different, free and memorable. You just might have to wait in a little line.
