Celebrating CeeCee Disney Style

The ladies in the family jetted off to Disney World for four days earlier this week to celebrate CeeCee turning NINE!! We checked in to the Beach Club Resort and kicked off the festivities with the birthday girl’s choice. – dinner at Beaches & Cream. The kitchen sink was the perfect way to celebrate her actual ninth birthday!

Each morning Sister and I surprised Marme and Cee with an addition to their outfit for the day. Sunday was Magic Kingdom day and we wore matching patch ears!!

We slept in and headed to the park around lunch time for Cinderella’s Royal Table!!

In the afternoon we did all of the birthday girl’s favorites – Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. We also caught a few cavalcades and waved to every princess on top of the train station.

CeeCee bought NINE balloons for the occasion!

And she spent the early evening passing them out to guests to help celebrate her birthday. It was THE sweetest thing. People were so genuniely grateful and thankful and it truly made the day of nine unsuspecting guests. She took her time to find just the right people and then she personally went up, one by one, and offered them a balloon and a magical day. She picked little kids, big kids, adults and all types of people.

These smiles say it all!

After a quick outfit change, we walked along the Boardwalk. We landed at Abracadabar for dinner and cocktails/mocktails.

Monday morning was another late start. We enjoyed breakfast in bed at Beach Club before taking a boat to Hollywood Studios.

It was a chilly Florida day and we bundled up in matching winter wear to go with our spirit jerseys (we gave them to Marme and Cee this morning). We were stopped a hundred times by kind people saying how cute we looked. A compliment can make a day!

We caught cavalcades and did CeeCee’s favorites… Runaway Railway, Star Tours and Tower of Terror.

The birthday girl asked to snack on churros and have lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby. Both were delicious!

From Hollywood Studios, CeeCee wanted to try something new! We had a chilly but FUN afternoon of mini golf at Fantasia Gardens.

From mini golf, we caught an Uber to Animal Kingdom for Flight of Passage. No pics – it was a quick stop! We wrapped up our magical day with dinner at the food kitchens around the Epcot Festival of the Arts! 3 parks, 1 day!

Our last day brought more breakfast in bed and a late start at Epcot! CeeCee wanted to see and do all of the Artsy things and we were thrilled to tag along. These photos were her vision and they turned out so cute. She did every combo of grandma, mom and aunt.

We ate our way around the world and found SO many delicious things. I’ll share more on Monday!!

On the way, we took time to chat with a few artists!

And we stepped inside the masterpieces for some fun photos!

The only two rides she picked for the day were Test Track and Remy!

It was a PERFECT, magical, FUN way to celebrate our cherry on top!

Happy Birthday, CeeCee! I’m already counting down the days to TEN!

  1. Oh my gracious, that girl is so precious, and my heart melts every time I see her…especially when y’all are together. The love you have for each other is palpable! What an honor to be able to see it, thank you so much for sharing.

  2. What a fun girls trip. Please share where did you purchase the oh happy day sweatshirts from? And please tell me how do you order a cake like that? I’ve tried in past to do it at the resort and they told me it would be just a regular cake I could order. Is this Mickey cake exclusive to that restaurant? We are going to celebrate the big “10” at magic kingdom on her actual bday and have reservations at be our guest. Any advice is appreciated.
