Celebrating 20 Years {Old Edwards Inn Spa Day}

Waking up here was pure bliss! I enjoyed coffee and my book on the patio to start the day.

Heading Home

When sleeping beauty woke up, we walked to Mountain Fresh Grocery for a yummy breakfast.

And then, the highlight of the trip kicked off – our day at the Old Edwards Inn Spa. It was absolutely glorious and the pinnacle of relaxation. We each enjoyed massages and all the amenities of the spa – the whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, meditation room, relaxation room AND 14-head showers. Oh my!

We also enjoyed a delicious lunch right at the Spa Cafe, perched high above Main Street. The pimento cheese on spicy buttermilk crackers was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed it every chance I got from this point on. Their chicken salad was some of the best I’ve had and I still think about it back home. We spent seven whole hours at the spa and loved every moment.

We headed down Main Street for an al fresco dinner at Wild Thyme. We both loved the food and ambiance.

Honey had his eye on Kilwins since we drove into town, so we popped in for ice cream (him) and turtle fudge (her).

Our evening ended with a night cap at Hummingbird Lounge.
