We headed down to Mercedes Benz Stadium last night for the Georgia Tech versus Clemson game. A game at the Benz is always SO MUCH FUN, regardless of the less than ideal outcome.
We tried to get one or both of the boys to come but both declined. It’s funny that they love sports and love football, but have not had interest in attending a GT football for years. We really wanted John to attend, thinking that it might spark an interest in Georgia Tech, now that college talk is pretty common in our home. His second choice at the moment is Clemson and, about half way through the game we realized it was probably a good move that he didn’t come. He definitely would have been in awe of their game, fun fans and huge turn out, likely confirming Clemson solidly in his #2 slot. :-)
And so, as it has been for most of the last 24 years, it was just the two of us cheering on the Yellow Jackets! GO TECH! THWG!
