I’ve had my flags out for a few weeks now, but just managed to snap photos of them with a clean house yesterday! Y’all come on in for a mini-tour of my indoor patriotic decor!
Since I have so much blue and white already, it’s easy to pop a few flights in bouquets of hydrangea and call it a day!
Like last year, I hung our Fort McHenry flag on the mantle. We aren’t using the fire this time of year and I like how it covers the big black hole.
We purchased and flew this flag over Fort McHenry in 2021 and I believe it will always be a special memento of that vacation. I hate to hang it outside where the weather and elements will take a toll. And so, here it is front and center!

I put out my summer anchor throw pillows on the sofa and in the chairs. They are from Everyday Occasions.
I employed all of my blue and white containers for flowers around the house and reuse the flags every year. I still need to print a family photo from DC or Fort McHenry to frame here but forgot… again.
I was so excited to pull out our Vineyard Vines patriotic puzzle from Target a few years back! We’ve been gone so much that nobody has had time to start it.
In the kitchen I am using patriotic Happy Everything and Nora Fleming attachments on the frame and napkin holder. The limited edition patriotic Little Debbie’s filled up Grandma O’s container perfectly.
I love things like a red cookbook and festive dish towel!
The coffee station includes festive straws, drink stirrers and candy. All of which are festive and functional.
Again, more of the same flowers on the kitchen table. I thought dum dums would be a cute, festive little treat for my fish cups this month. Y’all know I love my seasonal candy. I just couldn’t bring myself to do peppermints.
I was hoping to take pics of the porch and pool today but it’s raining cats and dogs! Stay tuned!
