It seems like a hundred months ago that my bestie treated me to a wonderful afternoon out to celebrate my birthday in March! A little while back we decided to start treating each other to experiences over gifts and it has been SO much fun. Our outing started at one of her favorite spots from college at Agnes Scott – Brick Store Pub.
We shared an absolutely delicious lunch of pub fare and our favorite cocktail. It was a charming spot that I’d love to bring my family to! It was also so sweet to hear about her special memories here from before I knew her.
With our bellies full, we walked over to The Chapel on Sycamore.
She had us booked for an evening of pure relaxation in a Candlelight Sound Bath. It was bliss! My first sound bath experience was just the month prior at Four Seasons Orlando. This one was just as spectacular!
A sound bath is one of the most relaxing experiences you can give yourself. It is an effective form of deep rest and rejuvenation for your physical body & your mind. Just 30 minutes of rest and meditation in a sound bath is equivalent to 2 hours of deep sleep.
This virtual journey of sound incorporates angelic healing sounds which radiate from Rebecca’s quartz crystal bowls tuned to the 7-point chakra system (your body’s energy system), a native drum will mimic the sound of ocean waves which are cleansing and clearing and finally, gentle tones from Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements will complete the experience. Rebecca’s sound bath experiences are cleansing and rejuvenating on the deepest cellular levels; connecting mind, body and spirit.
